Teens & Adults
W. Peterson: This teen patient had an upper bite that sat too far forward and with teeth overlapping too much. Using Damon metal braces and rubber bands without removing any teeth, we created a straighter smile and a healthier, more balanced bite to prevent future wear and tear.
J. Horn: This teen patient had a deep bite and an upper jaw that was positioned too far forward causing her teeth to overlap too much in the front. With the help of a Distalizing orthodontic appliance and Damon metal braces, we corrected the bite without removing any teeth, resulting in a healthier bite and a more confident smile.
M. Shoop: This teen patient had an upper bite that sat too far forward after growth was complete as well as skeletal asymmetry – the teeth were off center. With excellent wearing of rubber bands, we corrected the bite with Damon metal braces in less than 2 years.
Z. Rambo: This adult patient had mild lower crowding of his teeth and rotated front teeth. In about 9 months, Invisalign aligner treatment gently straightened his smile while allowing him to comfortably enjoy his everyday routine with minimal interruption and discreet orthodontic appliances.
T. Stanton: This adult patient had significant lower crowding and limited gum support around the lower front teeth. Orthodontic treatment with clear aligners, including extraction of one lower tooth and carefully planned tooth movement, allowed us to create a healthier, more stable bite while minimizing stress on the surrounding gum tissue. Minor smoothing (interproximal reduction) was used to optimize the upper front teeth and reduce the risk of black triangles. Consistent aligner wear was essential in achieving this beautiful and healthy result in less than 2 years.
A Jacoby: This teen patient had a severe underbite (Class III bite) where the lower jaw was too far forward and a crossbite – where one or more upper teeth sit inside the lower teeth when you bite down, rather than resting slightly outside. Her bite was successfully corrected without jaw surgery. With Damon metal braces and excellent rubber band wear, we achieved a healthier bite and a more balanced, confident smile for years to come.
D. Boone: This adult patient came to us with an anterior open bite, where the front teeth didn't touch when biting down. Using Damon metal braces and temporary anchorage devices (TADs), we closed down her bite to help her be able to chew and function better ALL without the need for surgery.
Phase One Treatment
Phase one treatment is for our youngest smiles — anywhere from around age seven to ten. If appropriate, phase one treatment can save a lot of time, money, and stress later on! Look at these results!
B. Puzinas: This young patient completed Phase 1 orthodontic treatment to correct a crossbite – where the top teeth fit inside the bottom. Over the course of just 7 months, an expander was used to gently widen the upper jaw and create a healthier, more balanced bite. For now, we’ll continue to monitor growth and development as the remaining permanent teeth erupt. Once the timing is right, this patient will be ready for Phase 2 orthodontic treatment with a full set of Damon metal braces.
L. Pross: This young patient completed Phase 1 orthodontic treatment using an expander to correct a crossbite – where the top teeth fit inside the bottom- and a “mini” set of Damon metal braces to create room for some permanent teeth. For now, we’ll continue to monitor growth and development as the rest of the permanent teeth come in. Once the timing is right, this patient will be ready for Phase 2 orthodontic treatment with a full set of Damon metal braces or Spark Clear Aligners.
C. Lukens: This young patient completed Phase 1 orthodontic treatment. A small set of Damon metal braces were placed to gently create the space needed for a permanent upper front tooth to come in properly, helping to prevent it from becoming stuck or impacted. We will monitor his growth until he is ready for Phase 2 treatment.
